B Vitamins

B vitamins are key when it comes to preventing physical and mental fatigue. This group of micronutrients allow your body to make the greatest possible use of the nutrients in food. As a result, you can “feed” your muscles, brain, and organs while creating enough energy for optimal performance (1, 4).

If you want healthy levels of B vitamins, try to eat as balanced a diet as you can. For example, lean meat, fresh vegetables, and whole grains all help prevent any B-group deficiency.

Vitamin D

Vitamin D is extremely important for building strong bones and joints. Plus, this nutrient also makes sure little ones’ growth isn’t stunted.

Typically, vitamin D deficiency tends to be a silent problem that weakens your bones gradually over time. However, some studies have led researchers to suspect that fatigue “without apparent explanation” could be one of its first symptoms (6).
